Presenting an exciting programme of international exhibitions and associated events that reflect the many diverse subjects and regions studied by SOAS, University of London being dedicated to promoting a better understanding of the art, culture, history and contemporary contexts of Africa, Asia and the Middle East.

The galleries have exhibition space on three floors which can be used combined to present major exhibitions and independently for smaller projects, with exhibitions changing every three months allowing for up to 12 exhibitions a year.

SOAS has its own Collections of artwork and objects managed by the galleries. A selection of these collections are on rotating display or themed to relate to key temporary exhibitions in the Foyle Special Collection Gallery, within the Galleries, and combined with its Japanese Roof Garden is the ideal place for a quiet retreat.
