Between the Floor and the Wall presents the work of seven artists whose work oscillates between the flat and the fat, two and three dimensions, drawing and object, the horizontal and the vertical. Their work comes from different (although sometimes overlapping) conceptual and narrative starting points, but all share a concern with an in-between place, of shifting and transmutation, where meaning is difficult to pin down. The show includes sculptures and installations that move between floor wall and ceiling. Between the floor and the wall is curated by Eleanor Bedlow, Janet Currier and Jane Millar.
