Delve deeper into the work of Norwegian painter Edvard Munch with author Ali Smith, artist Vanessa Baird, and Curator of the Munch Museum, Trine Otte Bak Nielsen.
Together, the panel will discuss Munch’s enduring influence on contemporary culture, art and literature, considering Munch’s sometimes over-looked output as a portraitist. The speakers will also reflect on Munch’s direct influence upon their respective practices and share the ways in which Munch’s career and approach to art has personally inspired them.
