Jai Chunan (b. 1955, Punjab, India) is an Indian-born British artist who lives and works in London. She graduated from the Slade School of Fine Art in 1977 and her work has been exhibited internationally in Italy, Belgium, Singapore, America, and at various institutions across the UK. Her paintings often depict the human body in abstracted room-like spaces to reconsider notions of voyeurism, eroticism, race and the gaze.
Peter Davies (b. 1970, Edinburgh, UK) lives and works in London. He graduated from Goldsmiths College in 1996 and has shown at The Approach since 1998. His practice is driven by a desire to constantly learn through making, looking and listening. Since 2004 he has taught at the Slade School of Art which has galvanised his engagement with emerging art in London.
