Beyond Borders - a group show that brings together powerful artistic talent from across the world. At the core of the exhibition is a visceral response to the sociopolitical instability that is gripping our world today. In celebrating diversity - whether in ideology, culture, aesthetic, medium or practice - Beyond Borders seeks to demonstrate that the expression of contrasting attitudes is not necessarily a cause for conflict. Subsequently, these works explore the notion that a cohesive union of distinct methodologies and opinions can create strong foundations for progress and innovation. These works grapple with an array of themes from love and fear to quantum physics and our relationship with history. Beyond Borders doesn’t hone in on the eccentricities that set us apart, but instead focuses on a holistic consideration of human behaviour.
