A reading salon to mark the launch of ‘Takesada Matsutani: In the Studio’ at Hauser & Wirth London
Join us for a relaxed reading salon—an open and informal space for shared discussion and critical exchange—to mark the launch of the publication, ‘In the Studio: Takesada Matsutani,’ at Hauser & Wirth London.
Enjoy an after-hours exhibition tour ‘Takesada Matsutani. Shifting Boundaries,’ followed by a reading of selected texts from ‘In the Studio: Takesada Matsutani.’
Led by our Learning team, the salon invites participants to respond collectively to the text and explore how it illuminates the works on view in the exhibition. Readings will highlight Matsutani’s engagement with performance, chance, materiality and time, combining critical engagement with open debate. The reading salon provides an opportunity to think collectively, ask questions and exchange perspectives.
This event is aimed at emerging artists and students aged 18 – 25 years.
Tickets are free but advance booking is essential. Each attendee will receive a complimentary drink and copy of the publication upon arrival.
