At the core of Grasso's exhibition is Orchid Island (2023), a film shot in remote coastal sites near Taiwan, presented alongside recent paintings, sculptures, and neon works from his ongoing series. Together, these pieces embody Grasso’s distinctive artistic language - one that merges the familiar and the uncanny to create a field where history meets projection, science intertwines with myth, and the real blurs into the artificial.
Orchid Island is on view at Perrotin London until Saturday 20 December.
