Arsalan Isa: I am sure, Circumsure

4 Nov-19 Nov 2023

Metroland
London NW6 6PS

Overview

A personal show from Arsalan Isa about the titillating world of phallic circumcision. With 80s love songs, velcro, Frank Ocean and DIY kits.

For one of the most popular cosmetic surgeries in the world, circumcision holds an array of meanings. By gesturing towards the surface tension of the material velcro and the point of incision, Isa works through his own cuts and personal memories, searching for what it means to stick together.

The Private View will take place on 3rd Nov with a performance by Krystyna&Sabina.

Please note: While this is not exactly explicit content, we do suggest attendance at the show is Parental Advisory.
