Overview

Join artist Richard Woods at Cristea Roberts Gallery to hear him talk about his practice and new work.

Four new woodcuts, entitled Lifestyle Pie Charts, 2021, by Richard Woods, featuring the artist’s classic wood grain support and densely inked compositions, are inspired by government guidance on the COVID-19 pandemic and refer ironically to the prevalence of bar graphs, line graphs and pie charts to explain social, economic and political trends.

Woods' works are held in major collections including the Saatchi Collection, London; Arts Council England, London; Victoria and Albert Museum; London; British Museum, London and the Museum of Modern Art, New York.
