Overview
Zhong Biao has become one of the most important contemporary Chinese artists working today, exhibited his work throughout Asia, Europe and North America. The majority of his new work revolves around the passage of time as well as the investigation into the identity of the Chinese nation. Zhong Biao was born in 1968 in Chongquing and studied at the Zhejiang Fine Arts Academy. He is now a professor at the Sichuan Academy of Fine Arts. His painting as won international acclaim for its avant-garde, almost proto-surrealist style.
