Overview
Josiah McElheny has explored how the constantly changing forms of fashion reveal certain core attitudes or belief systems of any given era. His latest body of work, including performance, sculpture and film, pushes this idea even further, asking how far you can re-imagine or reduce the body before it becomes pure abstraction. McElheny has collaborated with the Deptford-based dance company Laban who will perform at the preview.
