Overview

Points of Departure is a thoughtful exploration of the anthropological concept of liminality, a condition in which one’s sense of identity is diffused, leading not only to states of dislocation and disorientation, but also to the possibility of new perspectives. In partnership with the ICA, the British Council and ArtSchool Palestine, the exhibition features British and Palestinian artists: Jumana Emil Abboud, Basel Abbas & Ruanne Abou-Rahme, Bashar Alhroub, Bisan Abu Eisheh, Jeremy Hutchison, and Olivia Plender.
