Overview

Joo Yeon Park’s 'Library of the Unword' commemorates the 30th anniversary of Samuel Beckett’s death. The exhibition includes an installation O (22800) in response to Beckett’s 1935 collection of poems Echo's Bones and Other Precipitates (1935). The work comprises 126 framed mirrors and writings/drawings that consist of circles on Korean manuscript paper. The exhibition also features archival items on Beckett from the National Poetry Library collection, including audio, images, press cuttings and a rare copy of his poetry collection.
