Concerning Dragon's Teeth
19 Jun-12 Sep 2026
A solo show of new work by Christopher Steenson using photography, sound and archival material. A centrepiece of the new exhibition is a new artwork titled Dragon’s Teeth (2026). Focusing on the Beaghmore complex of stone circles and alignments in Co. Tyrone, this new work grapples with attempts to interpret the past, and the follies of attempting to anticipate the future.
Christopher Steenson is an artist from Northern Ireland. His recent solo exhibitions include mother’s tankstation, Dublin (2025); Flat Time House, London (2023) and VISUAL, Carlow (2022). He was selected for URGENCIES (2021) at CCA Derry~Londonderry.
