In Conversation: Lucía Pizzani and Helen Gordon

9 May 2026 3-5pm

Focal Point Gallery
Southend-on-Sea SS1 1NS

Overview

This will be a great opportunity to gain insight into Pizzani’s artistic practice and her inspiration for her current exhibition, Faunal Succession.

Faunal Succession is Pizzani’s first institutional UK exhibition. Through a series of new installations, Pizzani reimagines the Essex coast through a ‘deep time’ lens, linking geological transformation with contemporary questions of climate change, migration, and social transformation.
