‘Flowers Imagined’ by Catriona Wood
21 May-21 Jun 2026
PV 21 May 2026, 5-9pm
Flowers Imagined marks the 15th solo exhibition of London‑based painter Catriona Wood, who left the corporate world in summer 2024 to devote herself fully to art. This month‑long show opens at 67 York Street Gallery, Marylebone, running from 21st May to 21st June, Wednesdays‑Sundays 10 am‑7 pm (or by appointment).
Catriona’s signature playful, expressive style shines through a series of large‑scale floral paintings that capture the essence rather than the exact likeness of flowers. Drawing colour inspiration from interior design and unexpected palettes, she works in acrylic, layering visible brushstrokes to build depth and texture. The result is a set of compositions that feel familiar yet just out of reach, inviting viewers to linger and imagine.
Since turning to art full‑time, Catriona’s work has been featured in British Vogue and House & Garden, displayed on the London Underground, and acquired by Netflix for a US-based production. With a fast-growing reputation, her paintings are in demand and often sell quickly on release.
The exhibition offers both seasoned collectors and casual art lovers an opportunity to experience her evolving practice and to acquire pieces that blend contemporary vibrancy with timeless botanical charm.
