Cynthia Corbett Gallery
London .

Overview

"These are artists of exceptional originality whose practices are steadily gaining critical and institutional momentum, affirming their place within the wider conversation of contemporary art." Cynthia Valianti Corbett, Gallery Director

Cynthia Corbett Gallery’s presentation for Frieze EXPO CHICAGO 2026 brings together six artists whose works are united by originality, material innovation and strong contemporary relevance. Installed at Booth 203, the presentation reflects the gallery’s longstanding commitment to artists whose practices are both visually compelling and critically engaged.

Margo Selby makes her Frieze EXPO CHICAGO debut with tapestries that showcase her unmistakable woven language. Celebrated for her ability to combine geometry, colour and texture, Selby presents majestic works inspired by the Apollo moon landings, recently shown at Somerset House and Canterbury Cathedral.

Also debuting at the fair is award-winning Australian ceramicist Ebony Russell, whose exuberant porcelain sculptures are created through her distinctive piped technique, where decoration becomes structure. Her recent acquisition by the Wedgwood Collection at the V&A Museum in London, together with the 2025 UK Crafts Council Brookfield Properties Award, reflects the growing recognition of her practice.

Cristina Schek presents works from her Diving Upwards and Glamarine series. A Transylvanian award-winning photographer and surrealist digital artist, Schek's conceptual works explore identity, illusion and the shifting nature of representation and she currently has a major Young Masters award exhibition, 'Line of Beauty' on view in South Kensington, London.

Returning after a sold-out presentation in 2025, Andy Burgess presents five new series alongside limited-edition hand-embellished silkscreen prints. Burgess is celebrated for his vivid reimaginings of modernist architecture, design and urban space, balancing structural precision with chromatic boldness and atmosphere.

California artist and British-trained painter Klari Reis returns with works distinguished by her innovative use of classical pigments mixed with epoxy resin. Held in more than 50 major collections worldwide, her practice brings a compelling dimension of abstraction, experimentation and material innovation to the presentation.

Completing the booth is Scottish painter Alastair Gordon, whose meticulous and illusionistic works unite plein air observation with trompe-l’oeil precision. His recent solo exhibition 'Objects of Enchantment' at Wimbledon Museum, together with the sell-out success of his earlier fair presentation, highlights the growing appreciation of his distinctive practice.
