ELECTRONIC DANCE MUSIC NIGHT
24 Apr 2026 7-10pm
AT THE EXCHANGE Join us as The Exchange comes alive for a special late-night event inspired by Abigail Reynolds’ film A Book of Holes, on show as part of Reynolds’ exhibition Walking A Cappella. In the film, percussive drill rhythms are transformed into electronic beats created entirely from quarry recordings. The evening will begin with a short in-conversation between artist Abigail Reynolds and music producer and DJ Toby Sadgrove, discussing the creation of the film’s distinctive sound and the process behind the music.
Following the talk, two of the film’s music collaborators will step behind the decks to DJ an energised set of their favourite tracks, taking the film’s sonic world even further. Expect an atmospheric night of electronic music, shifting rhythms and deep-cut textures that echo the themes of the exhibition.
A pay bar will be open throughout the evening, so you can enjoy drinks with friends in the intimate setting of The Engine Room at The Exchange.
