A guided tour of Annika Thiems’s exhibition On wings (or almost), led by the artist. Thiems will introduce her first solo presentation at the gallery, offering insight into a new body of work developed in dialogue with Méret Oppenheim’s 1976 portfolio Parapapillonneries. The tour provides an opportunity to encounter the works in depth and to engage directly with the artist’s material approach.
German artist Annika Thiems lives and works in London. Her work has been presented internationally across visual art and performance contexts, including the Victoria & Albert Museum, Tate Britain, and has recently been featured in The World of Interiors.
