WALKING A CAPPELLA: A DIVE INTO SEAWEED!

10 Apr-11 Apr 2026

Newlyn Art Gallery & The Exchange
Newlyn TR18 5PZ

Overview

Curated and delivered by artist Abigail Reynolds and The Seaweed Institute, A Dive into Seaweed! brings together a vibrant programme of workshops, talks, screenings, and drop-in activities. Drawing on Reynolds’ poetic exploration of landscape, memory, and material, alongside The Seaweed Institute’s deep knowledge of seaweed ecology and heritage, the programme offers a unique opportunity to encounter the intertidal world in creative, thoughtful, and hands-on ways.

From the science and classification of local species to their cultural uses and artistic potential, you’ll be invited to look closely, think differently, and connect more deeply with the seaweeds that shape our shores.
