Family Block Printing Workshop with Neera Sehgal
18 Feb 2026 10am-3pm
Overview
Create bold, colourful prints together this February half-term in a family block printing workshop led by artist Neera Sehgal, inspired by Howard Hodgkin’s love of nature, pattern and travel.
Taking place at the Rickyard in Walpole Park, this hands-on session introduces families to block printing techniques using shape, colour and texture. Neera will guide participants through her own creative approach, drawing on Hodgkin’s journeys to India and his expressive use of pattern.
This workshop is designed for children and adults to take part together. All children must be accompanied by a paying adult for the full duration of the session. Adults and children will print side by side, experimenting and making artworks to take home.
No prior experience is needed. All materials are provided.
