Line of Beauty 2026: Young Masters Valentine’s Art + Jazz Fundraiser
12 Feb 2026 6.30-9.30pm
This special fundraising night takes place within Line of Beauty, the Young Masters People’s Choice Award Winners Exhibition, bringing Cristina Schek and Alexandra Baraitser into dialogue. Inspired by the classical “line of beauty” and its graceful curve through art history, the exhibition explores how beauty bends and returns through contemporary practice, as Schek’s surreal, conceptual portraiture meets Baraitser’s quietly heightened interiors and architectural forms, set against the refined Georgian elegance of the hotel.
All proceeds from this event support Young Masters. As a not-for-profit initiative, we rely on ticket sales, artwork purchases, and donations. By attending, and by acquiring a work if you wish, you directly help sustain our programme and future opportunities for artists.
Your ticket includes a complimentary welcome drink. Additional refreshments will be available to purchase.

About 'Line of Beauty':
Line of Beauty is the 2025 Brownhill Young Masters People’s Choice Award Winners Exhibition, on view at The Exhibitionist Hotel, South Kensington, from 15 January to April 2026. Set within the hotel’s Georgian rooms, it brings Cristina Schek and Alexandra Baraitser into dialogue, selected by public vote.
Taking its cue from Hogarth’s “line of beauty” and Paul Klee’s “line for a walk”, Schek’s surreal, conceptual portraits meet Baraitser’s chromatic paintings of interiors and architectural forms, in a setting where elegance, memory, and desire quietly converge.
