“The woods are dark now, birded and eyed” … lines from a poem by American poet Jane Hirschfield are at the heart of Sarah Gillespie’s second solo exhibition at Kestle Barton. Sarah’s ongoing relationship with the moths, woods and meadows around both Kestle Barton and her home in Devon, are further explored through new works in mezzotint and drawing.
