Join us for an evening with Michael Hoppen, renowned photography dealer, collector, and gallerist. Since founding the Michael Hoppen Gallery in 1992, he has championed emerging photographers while presenting them alongside acknowledged masters of the nineteenth to twenty-first centuries.
In this talk, Hoppen will share insights into collecting photography, how collections are built, how galleries shape audiences, and why supporting both new and established artists matters. Drawing on decades of experience, he will reflect on photography’s evolution as a collectible art form and its place in today’s cultural landscape.
