Overview

This exhibition looks at counter culture, revolution, and hidden lives. The title is to invoke a sense of change, a portentous event or a feeling of foreboding. 
 
The collections on show include a look at Warhols Silver Factory from the mid 1960s until the early 1980s.
 
The Black Panther Movement inspired by Stephen Shame's seminal photography.
 
The Gateway's Club in London's Chelsea. A gay and lesbian private club which ran from the 1930s until the 1980s. 
 
The 43 Club in London's SoHo between the Wars. 
An infamous hangout for the rich and famous, as well as the criminal underworld - all under the watchful eye of the inimitable Ms Kate Meyrick. 
 
The lives of artists' models and muses from the 1880s until the 1970s.
