Overview

16:9 is a billboard attached to the yard-side of Kingsgate Workshops. It's visible from the street and from Kilburn Grange Park. Kingsgate Project Space commissions new works from emerging and established artists specially for this site. 

 

Veronika Pausova currently lives and works in Montreal, Canada. She received her BFA from Glasgow School of Art and her MFA from Virginia Commonwealth University. She has presented solo and two-person exhibitions at the Esker Foundation (Calgary), Bradley Ertaskiran (Montreal), Public Gallery (London), The Sunday Painter (London), Simone Subal (New York) and Hunt Kastner (Prague) among others. Notable group exhibitions include the Remai Modern (Saskatoon), Lin & Lin Gallery (Taipei), Perrotin (Paris), Oakville Galleries (Oakville), Andrehn Schiptjenko (Stockholm), and Bureau (New York). Her work is included in private and public collections such as the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts and the Xiao Museum of Contemporary Art (Rizhao). She has been featured in Art in America, Canadian Art, and The New Yorker, and her work is the subject of Fast Moving Sun, a monograph published in collaboration with the Esker Foundation.
