Overview

Join us on Saturday 7 June at 4pm for Denim, a performance by Rafał Zajko, Contemporary Elders (Penny Benge, Selena Chandler, Janet Phillips, Jane Ponton, Kim Saunders, Jane Sealy, Gwen Simpson, Sue Stubbs, Christine Turner, Barbara Wells) and Agnieszka Szczotka.

This performance will mark the last chance to see Rafał Zajko’s first institutional solo exhibition The Spin Off at Focal Point Gallery and will be a continuation and expansion of the performance that took place on the opening evening.

The Spin Off is a theatrical installation that reflects on memory, repetition, reappearance, cyclicality, preservation and pickling, following Zajko’s practice of world building. Spanning sculpture, installation, ceramics and fresco, a new departure for the artist.
