Overview
What constitutes art and who gets to be an artist?
Artist, potter and cultural icon Grayson Perry joins forces with Marc Steene, founder and director of award-winning charity Outside In, to celebrate the wonders of art being created on the margins.
Together with artist Dannielle Hodson they will interrogate the phenomenon of ‘outsider art’ and celebrate the diversity of creators in our communities. Taking some of the themes in Steene’s recently published book ‘Outside In: Exploring the Margins of Art’, they will look at how non-traditional ways of working, or creating art in unlikely situations, can make for some of the most original results.
