Join a discursive celebratory event as the Henry Moore Institute gathers together authors, artists and scholars to discuss their recent publications in the context of the exhibition The Weight of Words.
The first panel will see Drs Natalie Ferris, Deborah Lewer and Jack Quin discuss their research into post-war British sculpture, literary and visual interconnections, and interdisciplinary approaches to art history.
This will be followed by an opportunity to view our current main gallery exhibition, The Weight of Words, in the company of its curators Dr Clare O’Dowd and Nick Thurston.
The second panel discussion is with artists Dinara Asadulina, Christos Kakouros, and Issam Kourbaj, who have all recently published artists’ books. They will discuss the processes of publication and the crossroads between art and literature.
The publications discussed in the event will be available for purchase.
