Artists Who Write

29 Jun 2023 8-9.30pm

Camden Art Centre
London NW3 6DG

Overview

An evening of readings to showcase new work from the participants of the writing group, Artists Who Write.

Join us for an evening of readings from the participants of Artists Who Write. Evolving out of the need for a space of critical feedback for artists working with writing, Artists Who Write aimed to devise an informal infrastructure to support the production of new work. The group was focused on the ways in which narrative writing can function within a wider creative practice. Over the course of eight sessions hosted by Camden Art Centre, the group shared new writing, using a peer-to-peer model to provide in-depth discussion, critique, and support.

Artists Who Write was organised by Eva Gold and facilitated with the support of Camden Arts Centre. The group was comprised of ten creative practitioners: Benjamin Brown, Sofia Connors, Loreum, Eva Gold, Yu’an Huang, Jeff Ko, Abraham Murley, Bella Riza, Ahren Warner and Evelyn Wh-ell.
