This Walkthrough is an overview of Carolyn Lazard's new exhibition Long Take with Nottingham Contemporary’s Curator of Exhibitions, Rosa Tyhurst. Working across disciplines and mediums, in their practice, Lazard explores the political and aesthetic dimensions of care under capitalism. Focusing on accessibility and dependency, their artworks and published writings centre incapacity as a site of abundance and collectivity. Rosa will talk about the key themes present in the exhibition and expand on Lazard’s wider practice with a particular focus on ideas of translation and duration.
