Christopher Le Brun’s third exhibition with the gallery presents some of his most ambitious multi-panel works to date. The show will provide an opportunity to see the development of modular compositions from singular pieces through to large and highly complex canvases, triptychs and monumental multi-partite paintings. A suite of recent acrylics on paper reveals some of the key motifs of the large-scale oils on view and represents many of the distinctive strands that run through his work. Le Brun received a Knighthood in the New Year Honours List, January 2021, for services to the arts.
