Suitable for ages 4-12 Join artist, animator and cartoonist Ben Connors for an exploration into the collaborative drawing game, Exquisite Corpse. Working on different sections of the body, children are invited to make a life-size Plexiglas figure, responding to the bold, weird and wonderful world of the Chicago Imagists. The Imagists’ interest in reverse-painting on transparent surfaces - inspired by show window designs and pinball machine graphics - and their affinity towards drawing with everyday materials like lipstick or mustard form the starting point for an afternoon of re-inventing the human form.
