The Hour Forever...

7 Sep-31 Oct 2021

Dellasposa Gallery
London W2 2SD

Overview

Dellasposa Gallery is delighted to introduce 'The Hour Forever...', an exhibition that presents a series of vignettes that capture the unfolding year, with artwork depicting dynamic shifts that occur during periods of transition and encapsulate the changing season.

The exhibition comprises a varied body of artwork by established modern and contemporary artists, including works by Pablo Picasso, Henri Matisse, Robert Motherwell, Damien Hirst, Tracey Emin, Andy Dixon, Jonas Wood, and David Shrigley - and continue through to new works by emerging artists.

Working across several mediums - from painting, sculpture to printmaking and drawings - the artists explore pivotal moments of transition drawn out through the most established dimensions of human life: time, space, matter, and individuality. Nature is represented in many of these artworks as a metaphor for transformation and the universal experience.

The Hour Forever is an exhibition that evolves by introducing new artworks and artists into the show over time, and thereby inviting new considerations and conversations around the themes of transition and transformation.
