"Close Quarters" invites viewers to contemplate the art and design objects in the household of an imagined collector, forced to leave his apartment at short notice. As we speculate on the destination, duration and objective of his journey, a narrative forms in our mind. Selected literary texts complement the exhibition. Featured artists: Massimo Campigli, Giuseppe Capogrossi, Antony Donaldson, Tano Festa, Claude Gilli, David Hockney, Yayoi Kusama, Leoncillo, Alberto Magnelli, Marino Marini, Aldo Mondino, Gastone Novelli, Luigi Ontani, Giulio Paolini, Pablo Picasso, Mimmo Rotella.
