Overview

Can one say no to religious beliefs that hurt/kill people? No to ornamental torture? No to the renewed practice of crucifixions? No to post-truth “trumperies”? No to extreme rights threats? Can one say no – at all? Fabienne Audéoud lives and works in Paris after graduating with an MA from Goldsmiths and a dozen years in London followed by residency at the Jan van Eyck in Maastricht. Her interdisciplinary work embodies personal, and often feminist and political and performative involvements. Her videos, painting series and performances have been shown in many artist run spaces and institutions such as Modern Art Oxford, Milton Keynes Gallery, Tate Gallery, ICA (London), Petit Palais (Paris), Confort Moderne (Poitiers). She has also extensively collaborated with artist John Russell, including their last to date project for Bjarne Melgaard at Maccarone Gallery (NY)
