A Paragon of Chivalry
24 Aug-20 Sep 2015

An exhibition of thematic work that draws upon information provided in medieval chronicles allowing confluence of personal expression in the language of visual form. Artist Statement: I have found it essential and of personal interest to relate my work to existing historical information whether it be true, false or distorted. Each exemplifies an interpreted statement of perceived events of that occurrence. Each work explores an individual component of medieval confrontation, vassalage, early forms of feudalism, romance and other varied intricacies of chivalry. The protection and supportive nature in the time-line of medieval chivalric society is well documented in chronicles of this period.
