Diana Krilova paints situations; moments in time that capture glimpses of unexpected beauty - mushrooms growing from a pile of dead leaves, a kit of pigeons in a city park, bees bumbling by a broken pond pump. Her paintings often portray a quietness, a solitude, a sense of irony. The beauty that surrounds us so often goes un-noticed, maybe we just don't have the time.
