Minimalism in Architectural Spaces

20 Sep-25 Sep 2016

Nunnery Gallery
London E3 2SJ

Overview

‘Minimalism in Architectural Spaces’ is a show that brings together temporary, spatial, minimal and architectural art from a selection of UK and International artists. The show combines studies of minimalist, temporary and space specific artworks, all of which consider the space around each object as having the same value as the object itself. They often challenge the boundaries of the term drawing and the drawn line. The exhibition aims to bring to our attention the way that minimalism in a closed environment can alter a person’s experience of a space. This show is put together by a group of artists connected with Bath School of Art and Design and is not part of the Nunnery Gallery’s curated programme.
