Born in Sydney, Australia in 1960, Narelle Jubelin has lived and worked in Madrid since 1996. Her work establishes a strong relation with Spain whilst addressing issues related to Australian history and culture. Jubelin is recognised for her petit-point renditions of found photographs, quotations and past art works. In this exhibition, she presents bronze sculptures cast from packaging buffers and new video pieces, alongside a selection of petit-point works which draw on key Modernist reference points including Picasso, Hannah Höch and Josef Albers.
