Hours for Mayfair Late Night Opening: Mon. 7th 10am-9pm Gallery also opens on Sun. 6th 12am - 5pm This year we shall be focusing on an exemplary collection of ritual objects formed over two decades from the late 1970s. The private European collection contains as its centerpiece several works exhibited at the Guimet Museum in Paris in 20012 and published in their landmark catalogue, Rituels tibétains: ‘Visions secrètes du V Dalai Lama’. Recent acquisitions will also be showcased including a series of bronze and gilt bronze sculptures will compliment a number of fine paintings (thangkas and mandalas). Of particular note is the charming 18th century Chinese gilt bronze sculpture of Samantabhadra depicted seated on an elephant, each of its feet standing on a lotus blossom.
