The Parakeet Parade Thursday 7th April Finsbury Park Café, N4, Touring the local area until 12pm For further details please visit: www.sculet.blogspot.com Parakeets have been chosen as the central motif for the Parade as they signify ‘urban animals’ adapting to survive in the age of Climate Change. The central theme of the project as a whole is identity – something that is also constantly adapting in order to accommodate new situations and experiences. The Parade will be the focus of a variety of arts activities involving 40 young pupils from Stroud Green Primary School and other local groups. The significance of the Parade itself will shift and evolve as the project develops.
