Overview

Originally trained as an engineer, he pushes physical, chemical and biological processes to their limits in making his extraordinary sculptures and photographs. He burns plant spores over photographic paper, so that the images look like exploding stars. By multiplying the processes used to make glass he creates beautiful sculptures. His work is minimalist, but suggests the cosmic.
