Overview

Anna Roch Deus’ canvases develop dynamic, lively light atmospheres that aim to find a balance in the imbalance: they confirm and challenge the tension of movement, form and line on a two-dimensional canvas. These divide the canvas into levels, using a variety of textures such as marble sand, exploring the ways which a canvas can create spaces of energy and silence within its complex structure of forms.
