PV 4th December 6 – 8pm. Surface Gallery will be hosting its popular annual exhibition. The Postcard Show 2009 promises to present a diverse selection of work produced by a vast and varied collection of artists, all brought together by the 6 x 4 postcard format. Expect a wide variety of styles and mediums ranging from painting, photography, illustration, mixed media and sculpture; challenging preconceived notions of the traditional post card. This is a fantastic opportunity to purchase one-off art pieces at an affordable price of £20, for anyone looking to buy a unique and thoughtful Christmas gift, suitable for all. Everyone is invited to join us for the very festive Private View on Friday 4th December from 6 – 8pm, where we will be serving mulled wine and minced pies. This will be an opportunity to see the exhibition for the first time and also get first pickings on any of the most sought after and original pieces.
