Overview

Sam Belinfante’s projects endeavour to bridge the gap between the visual and the musical. His film works, for example, exist in a curious space between performance and documentation. For Penumbra musicians are asked to take an improvised journey across their voice. During this an array of sounds, both intentional and accidental, are emitted in the gradual search of a clearly voiced tone.
