Hochoul Lee : Fragments of Information

14 Feb-25 Mar 2020

The Daiwa Anglo-japanese Foundation
London NW1 4QP

Overview

The Daiwa Anglo-Japanese Foundation is delighted to introduce the works of the artist Hochoul Lee to the UK public. Lee will display new pieces from the series 'A Second in Thousands'. Lee’s recent works have focused on the meaning of human cognitive functions, and his works are greatly influenced by philosophy. Lee’s inspiration for this series comes from the worrying problems related to political issues, the spread of racism and nationalism. He believes that the collapse of traditional ethics is related to a lack of imagination and acceptance towards individuality. Artist Talk 12 Mar 6-8pm: Hochoul Lee in conversation with Jonathan Watkins.
