The Greek Body Beautiful

18 Aug 2012-1 Jan 2000

De La Warr Pavilion
Bexhill-On-Sea TN40 1DP

Overview

Ian Jenkins, Senior Curator in the Department of Greek & Rome at the British Museum, investigates the idea that more than any other civilization in antiquity, Ancient Greece is remarkable for the central place it gave to sculpture of the human body.
