Overview

Liz Rothwell moved from Manchester to Machynlleth in 1980, drawn by the beautiful scenery of the Dyfi Valley. The ancient oak woods are her inspiration, with their gestural forms, bark patterns, blankets of mosses and lichens, their seasonal colours and changing moods. She is also interested in how mood and character is expressed by gesture in the human body.
