Rochelle Fry : The Idiot

Overview

For The Idiot, Rochelle Fry is presenting two recently produced bodies of work and one reconfigured continuing project. Additionally, the artist has created a small listening room at one end of UCA Farnham’s James Hockey Gallery. New small-scale painted bronzes will be shown on tables constructed from reconfigured artist-made floor panels which have been employed in previous exhibitions. A new series of silk wall-based works will be hanging on the gallery walls. Strange manifestations of movement, colour, and form are evident in Rochelle Fry’s sculptural work. Each of the works on display in this exhibition are unstable renditions of those formal concerns.
